Here's the thing; these two characters; Maddy and Mary Sue are polar opposites.  They're kinda supposed to hate each other.  It doesn't matter if they are in their humanoid forms (I say humanoid because Maddy is a Doonie ) or pony forms.   Mary Sue was meant as a one off joke in my video 'Why I hate Alicorn OCs' in the MLP fandom (which was made in 2014 btw...ONE VIDEO AND YOU'RE LABELED FOR LIFE FOR FU-) She was made as a parody character.  She is meant to be annoying.  She is the parody of the stereotypical practically perfect in every way characters that are everywhere in EVERY fandom.  They are so dull and boring.  These perfect characters that people create have no weaknesses, are usually stronger, faster and smarter than the main characters of the franchise they are based on.  An interesting character needs to be one that you can relate to.  They have to have flaws.  They must have weaknesses.  I guess if Mary did have a weakness, it would be her ignorance. (...and occasional racism towards hippogryphs...)

Mad Munchkin, or Maddy is a doonie, a fiery that can transform from a small humanoid creature to a horse or pony.  Mary Sue, though she did start out as an Alicorn, she's basically a magical princess character.  She can do anything and everything (that's the joke part), including changing herself into a human, and every now and then changes Maddy into something else too.  I may have only been making videos on youtube since 2011, but Maddy has been around for over a decade and has gone through countless changes in her design.

Mary Sue's design is based on a character generated on the pony generator.  (oh look at that, another video that I am known for that was made in 2014...ONE VIDEO AND YOU'RE LABELED FOR LIFE FOR FU-)  It was used ironically to make a point.  She's a joke character. She was never meant to be used in other videos. 

And look at the irony.  Since I made that video, it's my most viewed video out of 165 videos.  She gives someone for Maddy to bounce off of.  It makes the videos fun to write and edit.  People love Mary Sue.  She's funny, stupid, childish and scary at times.  Without that video, or rather how it was received, I wouldn't be doing what I am today.  Thing is, Mary Sue has become creativity personified.  She is Maddy's creativity.  I really do love her.
