What d'ya mean, 'crazy woman driver?!?'
Harley does drive like a maniac, but she has to when Mr J is her passenger. I just like putting extreme characters in typical situations; having an argument in the car for example. We've all been there, said the wrong thing, bla bla bla. I mean, alright Mr J's reaction here is a little out of character, but that's part of the joke, and Harley would probably not be insulted by being called crazy woman because...well, she is one. But the joke is that she's reacting the same way any woman would. And Mr J is reacting the same way most guys would....I think. Seeing them act like a typical couple really appeals to me.
Edit: It has been brought to my attention that Mr J is not out of character here at all. In 'The Trial' episode from season 3, (I think it's season 3!) Harley flips out when she's told that 'puddin' fibbed on her. He's terrified, or more to the point humiliated. So I guess Harley can intimidate him at times. Maybe once a month? lol Thanks to
for pointing that out to me!
I worked harder on the inking in this one but I'm not happy with the colouring or the background. I wanted to make it look like the car was in motion, and looking at Bruce Timm's work he puts a lot of smoke behind the car but it works better when you can see the wheels...you can't here. Meh.
This is probably my last fan art of Batman for a while. Thought this would be a good one to end with.
